Jessica Tarlov TAKEN OFF SET By Fox Producers After BRUTAL Fight with Greg Gutfeld

Jessica Tarlov TAKEN OFF SET By Fox Producers After BRUTAL Fight with Greg Gutfeld

The cameras were live and another familiar clash between Jessica Tarof and Greg Goodfeld was unfolding on the five. Their on-air rivalry has long been built on sharp exchanges over immigration, crime, and political responsibility. But this debate did not stay routine. As [snorts] the back and forth turned personal and voices rose, control slipped in real time.

Producers stepped in, cameras cut away, and moments later, Tarlov was escorted off set. Whatever happened crossed a line Fox does not ignore. A heated on-air exchange between Fox News co-hosts Jessica Tarlov and Greg Goodfeld [music] has escalated into one of the most talked about moments on the five, happening after producers were spotted literally asking Tarlov to leave the stage right on TV.

>> [snorts] >> The confrontation happened during a sprawling debate over immigration, presidential leadership, and Donald Trump’s return to the political spotlight. The segment started with the hosts disputing over Trump’s past immigration rhetoric, with Goodfeld arguing that voter support for Trump stemmed from frustration with institutions being gamed, including asylum and birthright citizenship policies.

But Tarlov didn’t agree and she pushed back, revealing a difference between the undocumented immigrants and those legally in the country. She couldn’t even get her point across because Goodfeld kept interrupting the discussion and defending Trump’s leadership style. He praised Trump’s pace and media engagement, saying it was different from President Biden’s quieter approach.

As the debate between the two became more intense, Goodfeld mentioned the polling numbers to argue that Trump’s roll back of Biden era policies like the DEI initiatives, broader enforcement, and transgender participation in sports means Trump has revealed overwhelming public support. But Tarlov retorted instantly, challenging the moral implications of governing by majority opinion.

She warned against cruelty disguised as populism. But her remarks were immediately met with mocking laughter from the audience, most likely making her more upset. The conversation reached a breaking point when they started talking about social welfare and work culture with Tarlov defending vulnerable Americans. As the simple discussion became an intense confrontation, the producers had no choice but to intervene, escorting Tarov away and the broadcast was abruptly cut to commercial.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that Jessica Tarlov has had a major conflict with Greg Goodfeld over one of their topics. After all, she’s a liberal voice and he’s a conservative. This leads to frequent clashes on various topics, like the moment they found themselves face to face while discussing the infamous Charlie Kirk situation.

In September 2025 on Fox News’s The Five, a tense on-air exchange erupted between co-hosts Tarlov and Goodfeld while they were discussing the deadly incident involving the conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, died while speaking at an event leading to a major debate that almost escalated.

During the [snorts] panel, Tarlov, who is always the liberal voice on the round table, urged caution in making broad claims about political unrest. She said that any assertion being made about the case required careful evidence and context. She used other cases of tragedy, including the death of Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman, to argue that political unrest cannot be related to only one side of the political spectrum.

Goodfeld immediately rejected what she said. He even interrupted Tarlov, insisting that the relevant question was why such violence in recent high-profile cases like that one seemed to be coming mostly from the left. When Tarlov pressed with what about references to other incidents, Goodfeld snapped, telling her don’t play that nonsense with me and dismissing the idea of a both sides argument.

The exchange quickly became more tense. Goodfeld questioned whether many viewers even knew of Hortman before her death, arguing that her passing didn’t have the same kind of media attention that Kirk had. He rejected [snorts] Tarlov’s position, even saying to her, “That issue is over.” But that only made her more upset. This moment drew a lot of attention online as the duo was on opposite ends again, publicly clashing over facts in a sensitive national moment.

But this isn’t the first time they’ve clashed over the both sides argument. While hosting the five, the two anchors have been arguing over the idea of looking at both sides. But [snorts] there was another shocking conflict that happened when they were engaged in a heated debate over the abortion policies. On a [snorts] September 2024 broadcast of the five, Tarlov and Goodfeld were once again engaged in a pointed on-air dispute over abortion policy, which is one of the biggest ideological divisions in the nation today. The exchange

started when Goodfeld argued that because President Trump and the Supreme Court effectively returned abortion regulation to the states, the issue was no longer a defining national concern in the upcoming election. He literally said that abortion isn’t a national issue anymore. And because of that, women voters don’t need to make it their sole focus.

He said that the matter was now closer to local electorates rather than presidential politics. Tarov countered sharply, challenging both the premise and the accuracy of what Goodfeld said. She used Trump’s recent comments as an example. as in Florida, he was willing to extend abortion limits beyond 6 weeks only for his campaign to later walk back those remarks.

Then she asked, “Why did Trump flip-flop on that?” She stated that Trump was inconsistent in his stance and political message around reproductive rights. The two of them continued to talk past and interrupt one another as they often do when they are in a conflict. Goodfeld was framing the debate in broader electoral terms. While Tarlov was emphasizing real world implications and shifting political realities, Goodfeld portrayed the issue as politically diffused and no longer central to national decision-making, while Tarlov argued that shifting

positions and ongoing state restrictions kept abortion firmly embedded in the political discourse. Goodfeld and Tarlov have had many conflicts over the years, and sometimes it gets too personal. Once Goodfeld made a statement that hit too hard, and Tarlov had her own retort. On a 2022 episode of The Five, Fox News co-hosts Goodfeld and Tarlov drew attention again when they had a conflict over the tone and emotion during a discussion of Elon Musk’s social media activity and speculation surrounding the assault on Paul Pelosi. The moment began

as the panel debated Musk’s deleted tweet in response to a Hillary Clinton post about the incident with Tarlov criticizing the speed of misinformation and Goodfeld framing Musk’s comments as provocative trolling. As the back and forth unfolded, Goodfeld told [music] Tarlov, “Look at you. You’re getting too emotional about this.

” Suggesting her reaction was overly affected. Immediately [snorts] after he said this, the audience gasped in surprise and everyone was shocked. Tarlov immediately pushed back, arguing that a higher-pitched voice and being passionate about a story didn’t equate to emotional excess, [music] saying it was just estrogen.

But him saying she was too emotional was a wrong statement, as this adjective often carries charged connotations across gendered lines. Another co-host, Jesse Waters, humorously added that Goodfeld had just told a woman that she was too emotional. As the banter continued, Tarlov raised a light-hearted but pointed reminder, saying, “HR watches this.

” She was clearly reminding him of the workplace norms and training, and this attracted laughter from the other hosts. This caused Goodfeld to respond, joking, “Is that a threat? Good for you.” The exchange might have been spirited, but it didn’t [music] stop the segment like the moment when Tarlov was taken off set.

When the clip became widely circulated on social media, it became a widely discussed moment. Although many viewers who are used to the back and forth between the two treated it as normal since they are the biggest debate opponents on the five, everyone is always asking what are they like in real life. Despite the frequent and intense on-air debates between Tarlov and Goodfeld, insiders have suggested that their real life relationship isn’t only about antagonism, but it includes elements of mutual respect, professional collegiality, and even personal support.

Everyone assumes that the dramatic verbal sparring seen on television reflects real personal dislike, but insiders that are familiar with them have revealed something different about their off- camera relationship. On [snorts] screen, Tarlov and Goodfeld always argue about major political issues, from the causes of political tension to immigration and presidential leadership.

>> [snorts] >> These exchanges usually become heated and lead to strong audience reactions. But what they forget is that these exchanges are part of the Fives format, which thrives on ideological debate between the lone liberal voice and conservative panelists. Tarlov herself said that the show’s dynamic mimics real life conversations people have with friends and family who hold different views.

That means she doesn’t exactly hate anyone, including Goodfeld. Off camera, they aren’t exactly opponents, as you might expect, although that doesn’t mean they are close friends. In one personal moment, Goodfeld offered Tarlov sincere condolences and support when she returned to the studio after her father’s death, encouraging her to take her time and assuring her of the team’s support during a difficult time.

This is quite different from what you would expect since they’re always engaged in heated debates on TV. Colleagues and insiders also revealed that the panelists on the five generally need to get along offset to maintain the show’s chemistry, even if they are argumentative on screen. There have been discussions about the show’s chemistry, but it always notes that even [music] if Tarlov and Goodfeld spar vigorously during debates, this is part of the show’s professional dynamic and isn’t evidence of personal hostility.

Goodfeld has also said that even if he gets angry sometimes, this is part of their on-air dynamic and that he and Jesse Waters really like Tarov. He also said that the feeling between them is mutual. For Fox News viewers, Tarlov is seen as a liberal foil to Tarlov, who is a conservative host.

Even after major on-air blowups, such as the heated September 2025 debate regarding political violence, the two of them have publicly reconciled on air. During that exchange, Goodfeld later apologized for raising his voice, saying that the subject was personal, and Tarlov clarified that she wasn’t angry with him.

This is just one of the times they give themselves supportive gestures and cordial backstage behavior, reflecting a working rapport that makes their debates pretty effective without actually reflecting personal animosity. [snorts] But interestingly, this isn’t the only rivalry that you can find out about on Fox News. If you watch a lot of Fox News, you might have also noticed the rivalry between Goodfeld and Brian Kilme, which many people pay attention to.

[snorts] There’s another rivalry between Greg Gutfeld and Brian Kilme, which has become one of the most talked about dynamics on Fox News, but it’s a complex mix of on-air banter, different styles, and self-aware humor instead of real animosity. Goodfeld, the co-host of the five and host of Goodfeld, is known for his irreverent, sarcastic, and combative delivery.

So, it’s [snorts] no surprise that he upset Tarlov so much she was asked to leave by Fox producers. Meanwhile, Kilme, one of the main hosts of Fox and Friends, brings a more traditional earnest style to broadcast journalism. Because of their different tones and approaches, they have had a variety of verbal clashes on air, punctuated by jokes, interruptions, and sharp commentary that play into their contrasting personas.

Goodfeld’s humor sometimes interrupts or undercuts Kilme’s straight-faced analysis, especially evident in panel discussions where Goodfeld’s quick wit pushes back against Kilme’s delivery. One interesting moment happened when Gutfeld joked that Fox and Friends might as well be rooting for Kilme. A quip that drew strong audience reaction and underscored the clash between the two.

Although these on-air moments look tense or competitive, both hosts have admitted that much of this is played up for entertainment. In an appearance where the two discussed Gutfeld’s book, Killme with a smile quipped to Goodfeld saying, “What is wrong with you? Why are you so obsessed with me? [snorts] Goodfeld responded Riley that if people weren’t obsessed with someone, they would worry.

Kilme then said that the jokes didn’t actually bother him, indicating that the rivalry is largely good-natured. Behind the scenes, Goodfeld and Kilme have a cordial and reciprocal relationship. But Goodfeld isn’t the only one with another rival. Tarlov has multiple rivals who are also Fox News hosts.

Starting with Jesse Waters, who is actually close to Goodfeld on the show. On the five, Jessica Tarlov and Jesse Waters have been involved in several heated on-air exchanges that reveal their broader ideological divides as well as the intensely opinionated style of [music] the show. Their interactions are marked by sharp language and visible tension that have attracted attention from many.

One of [snorts] the most memorable confrontations happened during an immigration policy discussion when Waters reiterated a hardline stance insisting they’re illegal, Jessica. This caused Tarof to challenge his framing by giving examples of the many undocumented immigrants who have not been convicted of crimes.

It started as a policy debate but quickly spiraled into personal jabs. At one point, Tarlov snapped back with a biting retort aimed at Waters Lifestyle, asking, “Who’s going to do your manicure?” Their argument was so intense that the producers were signaling for a cut as their voices became louder. The debate shifted into personal territory and they had to cut to a break.

Their clashes have taken other forms, too. Once they were arguing over CO 19 vaccine access under health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Tarlov accused Waters of failing to prepare properly for the discussion raising her voice and challenging his skepticism about vaccine eligibility rules. Waters then pressed for specifics saying to whom who can’t get a CO 19 shot and Tarlov responded emphatically illustrating the frustration and directness of their conversations.

Beyond immigration and public health, the pair have sparred in other contexts as well, including debates where Tarlov’s policy arguments have been met with Waters dismissive taunts or sarcasm, prompting viewers online to react strongly to their dynamic. Tarlov has also had a lot of on-screen confrontations with other Fox News anchors like Janine Piro.

On the five, the relationship between Tarlov and Janine Piro has been marked by tense on-air exchanges reflecting deep ideological differences and different communication styles that often push the show to the brink. One of their clashes happened during a debate about immigration policy where Tarlov and Piro openly disagreed about how to interpret legal asylum and broader enforcement.

>> [snorts] >> Tarlov argued that due process must be respected under US law and pressed Piro on whether entering through undocumented routes could legitimately be considered asylum. This caused Piro to insist that legal entry was the only due process she supported. This led to a back and forth that revealed sharp disagreement between the two.

Another notable exchange took place early in 2025 during a segment about the New Orleans vehicle incident. Tarlov challenged Piro’s framing of the incident, stressing that the perpetrator was an American citizen, not an illegal immigrant, and accusing Republicans of skewing the narrative toward border insecurity. Piro pushed back vigorously, insisting she was not making claims about immigration status and arguing that crime linked to illegal immigration was still a serious concern.

The exchange grew heated as both speakers interrupted and corrected one another. According to insiders at Fox News, they once had a conflict that was so intense the production team had to intervene due to rising tension. According [snorts] to these reports, both hosts spoke loudly over each other with Piro attempting to complete her points without interruption and Tarlov refusing to yield.

Producers concerned that Dorum was breaking down cut abruptly to commercial. When the show resumed, Tarlov was notably absent from the set, [music] an unexpected moment that stoked viewer speculation. Another shocking rivalry between Fox News anchors is between Juan Williams and Janine Piro, who have also had loud arguments on TV.

On the five, the panel discussion show on Fox News. Juan Williams and Janine Piro have had some of the most animated on-air exchanges, particularly during debates over Donald Trump’s impeachment proceedings. They don’t have a personal animosity, but they have disagreed on live TV many times and become examples of how contentious political talk shows can lead to a loud argument.

>> [snorts] >> One of the most notable confrontations occurred during coverage of the impeachment inquiry when Williams, widely known for his role as the liberal voice on the panel, cited ABC News Ipsos polling, showing a majority of Americans thinking that Trump’s request for a foreign leader to investigate a political rival was wrong.

Piro, a conservative former judge and staunch Trump supporter, immediately pushed back on his interpretation. She argued that Democrats were using impeachment as a bunch of hogwash, a bunch of telephone, a bunch of rumors, hearsay, dismissing the proceedings and attacking the opposition’s strategy. As Williams continued to reference the poll and suggest that people should pay attention to the impeachment hearings.

The discussion rapidly escalated. The two hosts shouted over each other for close to 30 seconds with Piro snapping, “Don’t tell me to stop. I’m a judge.” and Williams retorted saying, “For a judge, you should know better.” Piro then yelled, “Do not go there. Do not go there.” The shouting match was so intense that the other co-hosts, such as Waters, eventually interjected to steer the show back toward the broader commentary and end the conflict.

The heated exchange became widely covered by media outlets as a major scandal. In fact, The Five has constant on-air clashes between co-hosts, which has become a defining feature of the program’s dynamic. It has drawn a lot of strong reactions from viewers and other media, especially when Jessica Tarlov was taken off set by Fox producers after the brutal fight with Greg Goodfeld.

The show’s format, which intentionally mixes ideological perspectives, including liberal voices like Jessica Tarlov and Juan Williams, with conservative commentators such as Greg Goodfeld, Jesse Waters, and Janine Piro, virtually guarantees robust argumentation, frequent interruptions, [music] and raised voices as panelists seek to defend sharply divergent political views.

[snorts] Across [music] episodes, these debates routinely escalate into heated exchanges. A recent discussion about gun control illustrated this pattern when Juan Williams pressed for closing loopholes and expanding mental health resources. Co-hosts such as Waters and Goodfeld repeatedly cut in, countering his assertions and challenging his framing, resulting in rapid back andforth cross talk.

The frequency and intensity of such confrontations have led media analysts to list the five among cable news programs with some of the most viscerally contested panel discussions of the year, especially following major national events and political flash points. A popular example was when Tarlov and Goodfeld had a major conflict because of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

But many say that these constant clashes are part of the five’s appeal. The show thrives on the collision of different views and lively debate that keeps the audiences engaged. After all, they always interrupt each other and challenge one another’s facts. The rivalry between Tarlov and Goodfeld isn’t one that happened in one situation, but they have clashed constantly over the years.
