DNA Test Results Reveal the Real Father on Paternity Court!
And why didn’t you call him? How can we help if we don’t hear about the kid? That’s my kid. You should have to call me to let me know. This is my I don’t like I even like you like that, but if that’s my kid, you get this information [music] and you say, “I don’t see these medical issues on either side of my family tree.
” What do you say to your mom? Well, we actually I actually talked to my dad first cuz you know, you don’t ever want to, you know, insult anyone or anything like that. And I actually talked to my dad to I think it’s just wrong to toss a kid around like that. [music] She needs to find out who the real father is and should have done in the beginning. That’s how I feel.
I mean, if she gives me if she would give me, you know, proof that I am the father, then it’d be totally different, but I can’t just just change my life because case one, Miss Casey tied the knot with Mr. Hatfield less than a year ago, but their marriage already feels like it’s hanging by a thread.
She believes their entire future depends on proving that he is indeed the father of her child. Things got messy real quick, and here’s how it all unfolded. This is Casey. You’ve been married to the defendant for less than a year. Due to your husband’s trust issues, you’re worried you won’t make it to your one-year anniversary if you don’t prove he is the biological father of your son, Jacob Hatfield.
Is that correct? Yes, your honor. Mr. Hatfield, you say sleeping with the babysitter landed you in a marriage with someone you don’t trust. Is that correct? Yes, your honor. Mr. Hatfield, did you have a good relationship before the marriage? Yeah. Mr. Hatfield admits he cares for Miss Casey, yet trust doesn’t come easy to him.

He says the breaking point was when she didn’t mention she stopped taking birth control. For a man already struggling with doubt, that only fueled more suspicion. It started babysitting for his family. I saw him, you know, thinking [music] he was cute guy. And we started chitchatting and he had that day told me the rules.
It was, you know, no running in and out of the house cuz it was hot that day. The air conditioner was on. Make sure the kids don’t go in and out of the house and no sleeping with the babysitter on duty. Their love story had a wild beginning. Miss Casey was once the babysitter for his kids and soon their friendship turned into something deeper.
Before long, they were inseparable, fell in love, and walked down the aisle. Sounds like a dream until reality set in. How did you get to a place where you thought she actually had slept with someone and Jacob may not be your biological son? By coming across text messages in her phone. Oh, I have. You’ve brought some to court.
Brought some. Dro, may I see that evidence, please? Thank you. They would be too Miss Casey from somebody she was with. But dreams can fall apart fast. Mr. Heffield claims he discovered texts from another man raising red flags. The messages suggested this man wanted to visit her even while she was expecting.
To him, it looked like proof she was hiding something. You remember these text messages? You recognize them? Sort of kind of. Yes. So, who could it be? Sort of. Kind of. This guy had messaged me asking me to be his mistress whenever he got married. Miss Casey insists it was all a misunderstanding.
She says the man was just an ex who kept begging her to be his mistress and she shut him down every time. But her husband isn’t convinced that seed of doubt was already planted. parents house and I was sitting in the garage with one of her family members when the guy in question things turned explosive when Mr. Hatfield revealed that the ex had even come by at 1:00 in the morning.
Miss Casey argued she never invited him, but from her husband’s perspective, the story didn’t add up. With trust issues, that late night visit looked suspicious. Unless they’re interested in sleeping with her again and looking for her. He was looking to take my family member’s girlfriend at the time home. Not at 12:30, 1:00 in the morning when he come by.
It was your name he was saying. As if that wasn’t enough, Miss Casey fired back with her own accusations. She claimed Mr. Hatfield was guilty of sending explicit photos to other women. She says she even found evidence on his phone. So now both of them were pointing fingers. I’ve never once cheated on him in the 3 years. So why is it when we saw those text messages, we don’t see a text that comes after that that goes, “Stop texting me.
I’m married.” Because he had [applause and cheering] blocked me on Facebook. I had blocked him. He blocked me. How you going to block somebody and you’re waiting for them to respond to see if you can come over and have sex with them? That don’t make good sense. Because his girlfriend had found the messages.
The twists just kept coming. Mr. Hatfield didn’t deny that mistakes have been made, but he insisted he only wanted the truth about the baby. Miss Casey, however, was hurt, saying he and his family dismissed the child almost from the start. I’m fair skin. It doesn’t have to be the dad’s.
He doesn’t have to be like, if you would, what color hair does this other guy have since you say it doesn’t look like you? When he was younger, it was sandy strawberry blonde. Now it’s a little bit more brown during more time he [music] spends in the sun. Could feel the heartbreak in her voice. She says the moment he began questioning her loyalty, everything shifted.

He treated her differently, even while she was carrying his baby. To make matters worse, she accused him of sleeping with another woman during her pregnancy. I know how to take care of this. [music] And these doubts started to occur during her pregnancy. Yes. Yes. And so throughout the pregnancy, you had doubts.
Once I started having doubts, it came to a [music] point to where a month or two later, I basically broke it off with her. Mr. Hatfield claims his concerns aren’t just about him. He worries the constant fights are affecting the children. He says the kids act out and struggle to listen because of all the tension at home.
That adds another layer of urgency to their battle. Mr. Hatfell, you said there’s also medical reasons why you believe you are not Jacob’s biological father. Jacob has one kidney. He’s had to have surgery. He has to see a urologist every 6 months to once a year now. I’ve been there every step of the way from birth to now with the both sides are pointing out each other’s faults, but neither is willing to back down.
The courtroom is filled with accusations, tears, and frustration. With the marriage already rocky, the DNA results might be the only thing that can bring clarity. Believe Mr. Hatfield testified that Jacob does not have any such mutation. Is that correct? Correct. And so given that fact, how does this relate to the possibility that this could [music] affect his doubt? At the end of the day, all eyes turn to the test.
The judge, the families, and even the couple know that the truth on that paper could make or break their relationship. The big question remains, will it bring peace, or will it tear them apart forever? Phil, you are the father. [applause] Case two, Miss Allen insists that Mr. Toiver is the father of her little girl, yet he refuses to step up.
Her daughter has serious medical needs, including life-threatening allergies, and she says she can’t manage without his help. But Mr. Toiver, backed by his girlfriend, swears the child isn’t his. You claim the defendant got you pregnant and now refuses to do anything for your 2-year-old daughter, Nolla, who’s been diagnosed with severe allergies, leaving you in financial and emotional distress.
From the start, his stance is clear he’s had no involvement whatsoever. No diapers, no visits, no money, nothing. He has cut himself off entirely from the baby. Convinced it’s not his responsibility. That leaves everyone wondering how things escalated to this point. Get her to do a DNA test.
For instance, just the other day said she’s not going to do the test. Really? She Yeah. Have you been avoiding the test, Miss Allen? Um, no. I haven’t not been avoiding the test. Why haven’t you taken it if he’s volunteering? Um, he’s the reason why. Her explanation doesn’t sit right with him.
Miss Allen claims she never felt secure with him, but somehow ended up pregnant. The contradiction makes him doubt her even more and he argues she’s not being completely honest about their situation. Get back with me. She loves me and she misses me. But then when she is in a relationship, I don’t hear anything from her. You know, she Wait, let me just go back first before we jump into this.
I want to make sure I understand. You two were in a sexual relationship at some point. Am I correct? Yes. When the judge presses them, their stories don’t match. She says they were in a real relationship, while he says they were never more than casual. Neither one can seem to agree and the courtroom fills with tension as their versions clash.
She says, “I had intercourse with my boyfriend, my ex-boyfriend last night and then you had intercourse with her that night.” Yes, we were having drinks and talking and I didn’t really I don’t want to hear about that, you know. I don’t want to hear who you had sex with, but I mean, you know, when I mean it’s alcohol does that. Alcohol opens people up.
That’s what she told me. Then comes the bombshell. Mr. Toiver says that right after they were intimate, Miss Allen admitted she had also slept with her ex the day before. for him. That detail alone makes it impossible to believe he is the father with certainty. Text messages and phone calls that this other guy here is this is going to be Novella’s father.
Wait, wait, wait. When did that come out? This was when she was in the hospital. The guy in the hospital. Let me see those, please. Jerome and supposedly, you know, that’s she’s saying and it’s on the Facebook. This What are these pictures of Mr. Toiver? What complicates it further is the hospital story.
Miss Allen had another man by her side while giving birth. That same man was introduced to people as the father and even posted online about his child. With evidence like that, Toyvore feels justified in his doubts. A message on Facebook here where he’s claiming her as her as his little girl. You know, this piece of evidence is what a picture of that’s the the guy that she was seeing at the time with Noella, you know, as in claiming as his daughter.
Still, he doesn’t completely walk away from the idea of responsibility. He tells the judge that if the DNA proves he’s the father, he will provide for the child. But until then, he’s not willing to be manipulated or dragged into drama to I think it’s just wrong to toss a kid around like that.
[music] She needs to find out who the real father is. And she should have done it in the beginning. That’s how I feel. I mean, if she gives me if she would give me, you know, proof that I am the father, then it’d be totally different. But I can’t just just change my life because Meanwhile, Miss Allen paints a heartbreaking picture.
She describes caring for her child alone with hospital trips, countless medications, and the daily struggle of dealing with her daughter’s severe allergies. Her plea is simple. She needs help and fast. Explain. She has allergy problems. I’m constantly going back and forth to the doctors with her.
She’s allergic to just about anything you can be allergic to. Pecans, [music] pine trees, oak trees, apples, rice, you name it, she’s allergic to it. But then the spotlight shifts back to her. Screenshots show her sending Mr. Toiver affectionate texts saying she missed him and loved him while knowing full well he was already in another relationship.
That cast doubt on her true intentions. Do you hear that, Mr. Toiver? Yes, ma’am. I mean, that’s Do you believe that when she says it or do you think she No, because I’ve I’ve been going through this for 2 years on and off for two years, every couple months. I’ve moved on. I don’t want you in my life. And Miss B, you’re in a relationship with Mr.
Tyler? Yes, I am. And how do you deal with all this? I mean, if it’s not his daughter. At this stage, there’s nothing left but the science, the accusations, the confusion, the emotional battles, it all comes down to one result. Only the DNA test will reveal the truth and decide whether Mr. Toiver is the father or not.
Mr. Toiver, you are her father. Okay. [applause] Are you happy? A little bit? Yes, ma’am. Just a little happy. Case three. Miss Morton has come to court demanding $475 in overdue child care support. But there’s a twist. She isn’t sure who her baby’s father is. And three different men are being tested.
One of them, Mr. Prow, wants no part of this, insisting the odds rule him out. With in this situation, I was under the impression that was, you know, me and her pretty much against the world. You know, I’ve come to find out that she’s slept around with one guy, then another guy. This Morton and Mr.
Prowl did have a relationship, but it crumbled once he discovered she was involved with other men at the same time. If not for that revelation, he says he wouldn’t even doubt Ethan’s paternity. Now the trust is gone. Relationship was going wonderful in the beginning. Now, couple of months in, I’m finding out there’s another woman.
What evidence do you have of that on his Twitter account? And here comes the classic story revenge cheating. Believing he was unfaithful, she decided to get back at him by stepping out herself. Only now the consequences are heavy. A child whose father is a mystery and three men pointing fingers. He asked me was I involved with Miss Pra. [music] Now I told him yes.
You know, we were we had a little thing going on at the time. It wasn’t very very serious. [music] Well, he was like, well, it’s almost comical. She’s angry that he believed the rumors of her cheating while openly admitting she did cheat. There’s no confusion here. She was with another man, Mr.
Gatis, during that time. Whether she wants to face it or not, that complicates everything. Didn’t know she was in a relationship. She lied to me. Obviously, I don’t think I’m the father, you know, because we only messed around a few times and I didn’t hear from her for months. Mr. Gatis, another potential father, has no interest in this case.
He says their fling was brief and long in the past and he had no idea she was even pregnant. From his perspective, the baby isn’t his problem and he’s trying to move on. I do want to say for the record, I’m very remorseful for what I [music] did because that was totally out of spite. That’s what it was. Miss Morton says that encounter with Mr.
Gatis wasn’t planned. She had been drinking. But when it came to the third man, Mr. Lowry, her actions were deliberate. She admitted it was out of spite. As the judge reminded her, revenge doesn’t erase mistakes. If you knew we had sex more than once, why wasn’t I hit up for this? Like, why weren’t I called? Can I say something, your honor? I’m talking now.
No calls, no text, cuz I switched jobs. How we met? We met at a party. To make matters worse, all of them are still so young. Miss Morton now says she doesn’t want Mr. Lowry to be the child’s father. But as everyone points out, she had that choice before she slept with him. Now the outcome isn’t up to her. I’m on the 17th and [music] I slept with him again on the 28th.
Okay, move on. I’m on the red when I slept with Mr. Gatis at a party. Her testimony leaves jaws dropping. She was intimate with three co-workers within days of each other, yet stands before the court trying to sort it out like she’s solving a math problem. The timeline is messy and so are the relationship.
the process of me giving birth. However, after me giving birth and they moved me to my stable room. Meanwhile, Mr. Prowl at least showed some support. He may not have signed the birth certificate, but he was present for the delivery. He even helped her through the birth, which proves he cares though whether he’s the father is another story.
And why didn’t you call him? How can we help if we don’t hear about the kid? That’s my kid. You should have to call me to let me know. I don’t like I even like you like that, but if that’s my kid, then comes another argument. She tries to say knowing how to change a diaper proves someone is father material.
The court doesn’t buy it. Diaper skills don’t determine paternity and clearly she isn’t very fond of Mr. Lowry after all. Percentage that is your [music] child is the percentage that it isn’t your child. Regardless, no one is child. But your point is you don’t feel like any of the men truly stepped up. It’s also unrealistic to expect these men to volunteer for fatherhood without proof.
None of them can claim responsibility until the truth is revealed. At least it’s really only six weeks in and whoever the real dad is will need to step up for where you [applause] and your baby are today. I’m not saying they got it all the way right. ALL OF YOU SILLY BECAUSE YOU’RE TEENAGERS. YOU’RE YOUNG. YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS EVEN HAVING BABIES.
FINALLY, Judge Lauren loses patience with all the excuses and back and forth. The speculation, the fingerpointing, the drama, all comes down to one answer. The DNA results are ready and Ethan’s true father is about to be revealed pertaining to whether or not Mr. Morton [music] or Mr.
Lowry is the biological father of six week old Ethan Morton. It has been determined by this court the father is Mr. Morton. Case four. Mr. Jenkins claims his fiance has a history of unfaithfulness, spending the past two years juggling him and her exes. Because of this, he refuses to believe he’s the child’s father.
The paternity question has even forced him to delay their wedding. Mr. Jenkins, you say your girlfriend is a known cheater who has spent the last 2 years bouncing between you, her ex-boyfriends, and her co-workers and can’t be trusted. You say there is no way you are the father of her daughter Asher, and this paternity doubt has put your wedding on hold.
Is that correct? Yes, your honor. He opens the case by telling the judge that cheating is nothing new in their relationship. According to him, he’s caught her more than once. What shocks him most is that she keeps trying, even after getting caught red-handed. But it’s making me have more [music] and more doubts as time goes on because I keep finding more and more cases.
So, it has eroded the trust. Yes, your honor. And you don’t really have a foundation. Because at this point, you don’t believe anything she says? [music] No, your honor. Which is why you basically cancelled the wedding? Yes, your honor. I’ve been sleeping on the couch and doing very minimal [music] things to help with the baby and such since I don’t believe that it’s mine.
To her credit, she doesn’t deny it. Miss Hanley admits that when they first got together, she wasn’t sure about staying, so she strayed. Despite that, Mr. Jenkins says he’s always provided for the baby working, paying bills, and even sleeping on the couch when needed. Up messaging me saying, “Hey, I’m staying late [mu
sic] until 2:00 a.m. at midnight is when she was supposed to get off.” So, I drove by about, say, 1:00, and I noticed the business was already closed. Then, I realized there’s only two vehicles there. There’s her car and her ex-boyfriend’s truck. So, why was he there? Well, he has the times wrong. It was actually during business hours, and it was 11:00 p.m.
But his suspicions didn’t stop there. He recalls catching her sneaking off with her ex-boyfriend, all while pretending she was working late. And to make it worse, he later found messages proving they had been talking for weeks before he uncovered the affair. We’re talking as friend because I mean, you were speaking like you had never broken up.
Well, we What did the messages say, Mr. Jenkins? They were speaking about how I miss you and I love you and I wish I could be with you, but I’m busy right now. Wait, and this is when you were engaged or before you were engaged? This is 4 weeks after we had been together. From the outside, it almost looks like Mr. Jenkins was just a rebound.
Judge Lauren pressed her about lingering feelings for her ex and she admitted she did still care for him at first, but she insists those feelings are gone now. So, what happens from that point on? Well, we got another job. See, [music] cuz it’s kind of a reoccurring issue is that whenever she goes to a job, she ends up becoming friends [music] with some cute guy she met there.
But she, we were working at a factory at the time. She had a fellow co-orker that would always come over and like fake nudge her, joke with her, flirt with her, talk with her. They would sit together on break with me sitting right [music] there next to him. and I never could trust him. Jenkins isn’t convinced.
He says that even after forgiving her, she started crushing on a man at her factory job. And as expected, that crush made him wonder if history was just repeating itself. Oh, he’s so cute. But he knows about David with the tear eye. Yes, your honor. Was there a co-worker, Miss Hinsley, that you were interested in? Yes.
And we were friends, but I made it clear to him that I had a boyfriend, and that’s why I told him about that because people were trying to get me [music] to leave David because they saw the way that he treated me for the other guy. Miss Hinsley admits she thought her coworker was attractive, but she claims she set boundaries.
She says she told him she was taken and he respected it. Still, the story doesn’t sound believable to Mr. Jenkins or anyone else listening. I found out Shaniah was pregnant and I [music] didn’t at first believe it because we had been together around two years at [music] the time and we were having sexual intercourse two to three times a day for the whole 2 years long.
I’m talking like all the way through January, all the way through February, all the way through every [music] single month. Then comes a surprising revelation. Jenkins says they’ve been physically intimate two or three times a day throughout their relationship. For him, it’s confusing. How could she cheat when they were already so active together? is that out of all those times, every single time was unprotected and precautions were not taken to make sure that we [music] did not have a baby.
Your point is we had sex that many times a day for that many months and she never got pregnant. Unprotected [music] sex. Yes, your honor. It wasn’t until this time when I suspected she was with someone else that she [music] ends up getting pregnant. Yes, your honor. He adds another layer to the doubt.
Despite all their unprotected intimacy, she never conceived. She explains it away by saying she has a medical condition that prevented her from getting pregnant during that time. that she had gotten pregnant because [music] as I mentioned before all this time and she never once had gotten pregnant. So all of this made you have significant doubt, Mr. Jenkins.
Yes, your honor. And that then affected how you felt for the baby. It’s all because she broke my trust as soon as we first got together, [music] your own honor. And so what is your relationship like with Asher? I love her because I was there when she was born [music] and I I somewhat helped to take care of her.
Jenkins recalls the moment of birth admitting he was overwhelmed. He signed the birth certificate not because he was sure, but because he was in shock after witnessing the delivery. He had never experienced anything like it before. What is your relationship like with Asher now? 6 months old. I get along with her and she knows who I am, but I don’t let her know.
I don’t call myself daddy in front of her. I want to be 100% sure cuz I don’t want to raise a [music] child that’s not mine. I still care for her. I’ve been with her since she first was conceived. But you admittedly are holding back. Yes. You really aren’t giving this child. Yes, your honor.
Now, the only thing left is the DNA test. After all the accusations and back and forth, the truth will be revealed. Soon they’ll find out if Mr. Jenkins is truly the child’s father or if his suspicions were right all along. Mr. Jenkins, you are the father. [applause] Case 5. Miss Sims has brought her parents to court, accusing them of lying to her for 36 years.
She claims they misled her into believing Mr. Johnson was her biological father and is now suing for paternity fraud. She insists she has evidence to prove it. Miss Sims, you say your mother and your alleged father intentionally deceived you for 36 years by claiming that Mr. Johnson is your biological father.
You are suing them for paternity fraud because you claim to have proof that you are not his daughter. Is that correct? Yes, your honor. From the very start, the tension is high. Miss Sims’s mother confidently says Mr. Johnson is her father, but Miss Sims argues otherwise. She promises she has undeniable proof that will shake their family to its core.
So, for my whole life, um I’ve always thought that um Henry, my dad, is my dad. And I just have a multitude of things that have come up [music] that show me that he potentially could not be, including my health and my daughter’s health. We don’t have any family history that is consistent [music] throughout the family of my dad’s family.
You can see the pain in her voice as she speaks. She explains that her health issues along with her daughter’s medical history suggest something doesn’t add up for her. These discoveries were the first red flag. How do you respond to that? I never intentionally lied to her a day in her life.
Uh so where she’s coming up with this, I don’t don’t know. Miss Sims, you grew up a daddy’s girl, right? Definitely a daddy’s girl. Her mother seems stunned by the accusation. She swears she never set out to deceive her daughter and repeats that she knows Mr. Johnson is the real father. Still, the uncertainty on her face tells another story.
Was your biological father? Can you talk to the court about that? Yes. Um, my dad picked I mean I met my dad when I was four years old. So I mean a little later than most people but after [music] after I was introduced to him um I spent a lot of time with him. He made me who I am today. He made me strong.
He made me very very responsible. He was the person that definitely encouraged [music] me to be a better person always. It’s heartbreaking because Miss Sims and Mr. Johnson once had a close relationship. She says she grew up as a daddy’s girl while Mr. Johnson recalls wonderful memories of raising her. But now years of love and trust are crumbling in the courtroom.
But I never mentioned it to her cuz I didn’t see any reason for it. Maybe she has less trust in me now, but it doesn’t affect the way I feel about her. You say you feel like she may have less trust in you. Yeah. Do you feel that way? I I mean in in a small small aspect, yes. I [music] mean my mom and my dad I mean because together they then the truth begins to unravel.
Miss Sims reveals that her parents did hide something from her. There was always another possible father. Neither her mother nor Mr. Johnson thought it necessary to mention it and that betrayal cuts deep. So what do you say to your mother when you get this information [music] and you say I don’t see these medical issues on either side of my family tree? What do you say to your mom? Well, we actually actually talked to my dad [music] first cuz you know you don’t ever want to, you know, insult anyone or anything like that. And I actually
talked to my dad about it. Imagine discovering such a secret after nearly four decades. She explains how confronting her parents made her feel betrayed and blindsided. If she hadn’t asked the hard question, she says she might never have known the truth. Something you hadn’t told her. She was facetiming me on the phone and when she mentioned [music] it, she was laughing and giggling.
So, I thought she was joking. I didn’t read anything into it and didn’t say anything [music] about it. So, So, do you remember that conversation, Miss Sims? What did you say to your mother and why why did she say you were laughing? My husband and I were sitting on the sofa and I’m video chatting cuz we live in separate states.
Her frustration only grows. Miss Sims recalls asking her mother directly about the rumors only to have the conversation dismissed as if it were a joke. For her that brushoff was just as painful as the secret itself. We happened to be on the same cap and at the same time and we ended up talking across each other.
We end up got getting acquainted and end up being friends. And then after we got to be friends, you know, she come visit, we play music and talk and dump our problems on each other and stuff like that. It just went farther. Kind of got serious. You all became Did you become a couple? Did you? No, we did not become a couple.
He was already in a relationship. The story takes another turn when it’s revealed her mother had a relationship with another man around the same time she met Mr. Johnson. He insists they only slipped together once, but her mother remembers it differently, suggesting the possibility of another father. Johnson, what do you remember? You say you only had sex with Miss Smith one time? We were seeing each other for about 2 months as friends.
One day, we took a shower together and we ended up in the bed having sex. Did you know she was in another relationship at the time? Yes, I did. That’s why it took ME SO LONG. OH, THAT’S WHY YOU DIDN’T try to have sex with her sooner, but then this day after the shower, all bets were off. Mr. Johnson adds his perspective.
He says he was aware she was involved with someone else, which is why they didn’t become intimate right away. But when they finally did, it blurred all the lines of certainty. What did you do with that information? Who did you tell him? I was pregnant and I told my ex I was pregnant. Okay.
So, at that point, as a young woman, you realized you were in a question of paternity situation. You told both men, I’m pregnant. You may be the father. I didn’t say all that. I said that I was pregnant there. Her mother explains that she told both men about the pregnancy. According to her, when she broke the news to Mr. Johnson.
Their relationship ended soon after. At the time, he assumed the child belonged to her boyfriend. I figured it was time for him to get with her and meet her. And I just said she needs her father in her life. And so, Miss Sims, you just said out loud, “But I didn’t meet my father till I was four.” Mr. Johnson, [music] take me to the day you met her.
Her mom had contacted me and told me that I had a daughter, that Quiata was my daughter. I went to meet her. And now, decades later, the truth is finally within reach. Miss Sims braces herself as the DNA results are prepared to be revealed. The question remains, was she right to doubt Mr. Johnson, or has she been wrong about her father all along? Mr. Johnson, you are the father.
[cheering] [applause] The case kicks off with Miss White, who drags her ex, Mr. Flowers, to court over nearly $1,800 in baby costs. He’s refusing to pay because he swears he’s not the dad. Instead, he points the finger at the neighborhood ice cream man. According to him, the real father has been selling more than just cone.
Say you have no doubt when it comes to who your 4mon-old child majors biological father is, even though you were intimate with the neighborhood ice cream man during the window of conception. You are seeking a DNA test as well as $1,846.54 in child care expenses. Correct. Now, this isn’t just wild speculation.
The ice cream man, Mr. Miles openly admits he hooked up with Miss White on four separate occasions. On their last encounter, he confesses they didn’t use protection. That timing, of course, raises plenty of eyebrows. Was it ongoing? Was this just a one night thing? Actually, we only did it like four. So, you just went out about four times.
So, this wasn’t a relationship. It wasn’t a committed relationship. No. Did you use protection? I used protection three times, but the last time I did it was But Miss White doesn’t seem all that phased by the revelation. When pressed about her connection with Mr. Miles, she simply chuckles.
To her, it wasn’t love or even dieting. It was just something fun. She calls it nothing more than entertainment. Miss White, how did you see the nature of the relationship with Mr. Miles? It was just entertainment. When you say entertainment, what what do you I mean, it’s not like a movie. No, because William not around.
You know, he had stuff for me to do. We was on the ice cream truck kicking it. You know, we go to the house, party, do whatever, whatever. And, you know, he was somebody to have fun with. So, how did Mr. Flowers even uncover this other relationship? He went through her phone behind her back. There he stumbled upon a message where she was arranging another meetup with Mr. Miles.
That discovery fueled all his suspicion. Me and Miss White, we was kicking it and I had I had spent the night over there. She fell asleep. Text message come through and this it’s man I don’t even know where to begin at judge. It get real explicit because he wasn’t around. Mr.
Miles, however, doesn’t think the baby belongs to him either. He already has eight kids and insists all of them share his features. Pointing to the child in question, he flatly declares that baby doesn’t look like me at all. He’s convinced the resemblance just isn’t there. Got eight kids. Okay. All my kids look just like me or they got some type of features.
You see that baby? That’s your baby. Do you see that baby in me? That is not my baby. That’s your baby. That’s not my baby. Look at that baby. He has no features. No. When it comes to financial responsibility, neither man looks great. Mr. Miles only ever purchased one bag of diapers and then refused to cover the DNA testing fee. On the other hand, Mr.
Flowers did buy two baby outfits, but shockingly returned them to the store. He claimed they didn’t fit. Have you done anything for the child after you met the child? Did you try to help? All I had bought the uh baby was a bag of diapers and that’s it. Normally, she got money.
I don’t even know why she even asked me for it. It’s $500 from where we at to do a DNA test. Now, if she would have came and said, “Let’s go have Things take another turn when Miss White’s own friend testifies.” According to her, Miss White tends to pursue men she believes have money. This paints her at a questionable light.
suggesting she may not always choose partners for love. That revelation shakes up the courtroom. Uh he bought him two outfit. He returned them pretty much. Mr. Flowers, you took the outfits back. Yes, ma’am. He couldn’t even he couldn’t fit them and it he was probably would have took about 3 months for him. Judge Lake sits listening as both men dodge accountability.
One says it was just fun. The other says he’s sure it’s someone else’s child. Yet, the expenses, diapers, and court filings keep piling up. Somebody is going to walk out responsible. You’ve handed me evidence. These are text messages from Miss White to you. Yes, ma’am. And the first one says, “Lol, you just don’t know.
My child got so many men willing to do your part.” The next text says, “My baby need a pop that’s getting money on a daily.” Finally, the DNA results are in and all eyes turn to Judge Lake. Will Mr. Miles, the father of eight, suddenly find himself with a ninth, or will Mr. Flowers, the suspicious ex, be held financially responsible? The truth is about to spill and it could cost thousands.
It has been determined by this court. His father is Mr. Flowers. Thank you. Yeah, you’re right. Thank you. Do you believe these are your son’s biological children? Yes, I do. Please explain to the court. The first week that they was born, uh Christian mom called me. So, she said by that, “Look, take a look at the babies.
Look at these pictures. Something ain’t right.” So, she sent me the pictures. So, I’m like, “Oh my god.” Case two, the drama begins with Mr. Spencer, who shows up in court unsure if he’s the father of 13-month-old twins. His ex, Miss Adams, is at the center of a tangled love triangle. With so much confusion, he needs answers.
The stakes couldn’t be higher. Miss Adams, you say you were caught in a love triangle, and now the defendant doesn’t believe he fathered your 13-month-old twins, Kamaran and Kamarana. Miss Adams admits she was intimate with another man around the time the twins were conceived. Despite that, she insisted she always believed Mr.
Spencer was their dad. According to her, she never had doubts, but her story doesn’t add up. How did you get caught in a love triangle? Well, to be honest with you, I got caught up in a love triangle because I was with the same man for 13 years. I had separated. When we separated, I had kind of gone through my vulnerable stage and things like that.
I had went out actually one day, you know, to the bar. That’s when I had met Marquee. And during that time, you were intimate with Mr. Spencer. Yes. Did you use protection? No. Early in her pregnancy, she told Mr. Spencer something very different. Back then, she swore her ex-boyfriend was the real father. And Mr.
Spencer, trust in her, believed it completely. That lie planted the seed of this entire courtroom. Miss founded out I was pregnant during the time that Marke Spencer had went away. When Marke went away, I had found out that same week that I was pregnant. I told um a family member of Marke Spencer that I was currently pregnant and that I need to speak with him immediately.
And you were confident at that time that Mr. Spencer was your child’s biological father? Yes. The ex-boyfriend’s mother adds fuel to the fire. She takes the stand and swears she was certain the twins were her grandkids. To her, they carry her son’s feature. She had no reason to question it. Do you believe these are your son’s biological children? Yes, I do.
Please explain to the court. The first week that they was born, uh Christine mom called me. So, she said by that, “Look, take a look at the babies. Look at these pictures. Something ain’t right.” So, she sent me the pictures. So, I’m like, “Oh my god.” Not only that, but she says she did her own research.
This grandmother claims she checked the timeline of conception against old photos. Every detail she insists lined up with her son being the dad. She was sure of her conclusion. So I went looking for some of Mitchell’s baby pictures. And I started sending them through the family. And the family’s like, “Oh my god, these Mitchell’s babies.
” So as I talked to Kristen, I’m Are you sure? We just left here at the end of December. You said you met Maris in February. It’s not adding up. So I’m calculating. I’m calling and everybody calculating. Mr. Spencer recalls a disturbing moment that still haunts him. He once saw the other man holding the twins in public. One of the children looked so strikingly similar to him that it sent shivers down his spine. His doubt only grew stronger.
And the reason we started bagging back because all of a sudden I saw Maris at one of Christian friend house. Yes. He said, “These are my babies.” So he was trying to show me some. So wait, you saw Mr. Spencer? Yes. So [music] you that was the first time you had seen Mr. Spencer? Yes. First.
So Mr. Spencer, do you remember this encounter? Yes, Sean. The most shocking twist comes from Miss Adams herself. She finally admits she lied to both men on purpose. She confesses she wanted her ex back, so she let him think he was the father. At the same time, she kept Mr. Spencer hooked as well. Miss Adams, from your testimony is you have allowed at certain times both men to believe they are the twins biological father. That’s just the truth.
This is a lie, you know, because everybody wants the twins to be theirs. Yes. Her confession is cold and calculated. She admits she used her own children as bargaining chips in her emotional gain. The twins became tools in her plan to rekindle a relationship with her ex. The courtroom reacts with disgust. You’re admitting that you came in here today and you used your twins as a pawn.
Yes. You allowed them to believe there was a possibility because that then allowed there to be a possibility that you get back with your ex. Yes. But you do get now that now your children have two different families completely attached to them. Yes. Now everything rests on Judge Lakes’s disc.
Two envelopes, two possible fathers, and years of lies about to be exposed. The truth will end the manipulation once and for all. But whose name will be tied to these twins? Mr. Spencer or the ex? It has been determined by this court. The biological father is Mr. Spencer. Case three. The story kicks off with Mr. Butterfield storming into court, determined to prove he’s the real father of baby Cara.
He’s pointing fingers at his ex, Miss Bracknell, and her new fiance, Mr. Dallas. To him, the truth has been buried too long. Now, he wants answers. Mr. Butterfield, you’ve summoned your ex-girlfriend, Miss Bracknell, to paternity court to prove that you are the father of her two-month-old daughter, Cara. Miss Bracknell and Mr.
Dallas quickly shut him down. They claim his accusations are nothing but a scheme to ruin their relationship. According to them, Mr. Butterfield simply can’t stand to see her happy. They insist he’s not the dad at all. Miss Bragmail, you say there’s no way Mr. Butterfield is your child’s father. The only reason why he’s doing this is to break up the family you now have with your fianceé, Mr. D.
Their past wasn’t exactly simple. Mr. Butterfield says they lived together for a year, actively trying to conceive. For him, the timing makes perfect sense. He believes those efforts may have resulted in baby Cara. She said, “Thank you for the gift.” And I said, “What gift was that?” And it wasn’t until later that you found out she was pregnant.
That is correct. And then when you found that out, you thought to yourself, was that the gift? The baby? Yeah. You thought the my daughter? Yeah. Miss Bragnell tells a different story entirely. She insists she didn’t even know she was pregnant until 3 months after their split.
Her regular period, she says, kept her from realizing sooner. To her, this proves Mr. Butterfield can’t be the father. three I’d say 3 months after I did move out of his house because I was having irregular periods so I just let it go for a minute. I’m not really a doctor person. I’m not I don’t So you didn’t go to the doctors for how long? Trying to back her up, Mr.
Dallas presents a calendar in court. He argues the dates don’t line up with Mr. Butterfield’s claim, but Mr. Butterfield fires back, saying he and Miss Bracknell secretly kept seeing each other after the breakup. That’s when the baby could have been conceived. August her and Jesse split up. September we was together.
So this calendar so in the middle of you say Carl was conceived in midepptember and she was born in June and she ended the relationship with Mr. Butterfield at the end of August. Am I correct? Through it all, Mr. Dallas shows unwavering support. He tells the court that even if Cara isn’t biologically his, he will continue raising her as his own.
In his eyes, this ordeal has only made his bond with Miss Bracknell stronger. So there’s a lot at stake today because Miss Bracknell and Mr. Dallas, you have a family. You have how many other children together? We have four kids. Counting Carla, four. No, you have three kids. She is three. As for Mr.
Butterfield, he explains how he discovered the child. He wasn’t told directly he stumbled across a Facebook picture. Later, a friend confirmed the news with a text. The revelation hit him like a punch to the gut. Yeah, you could cut the biblical cord cuz I wasn’t there. She hit it from Oh, you were there. You were stalking me in the park.
The only time that I actually ever found out um that you guys were even pregnant. That’s a Facebook post that they posted on Yep. That little girl is ready right there. The only thing I got was a text message from like of a friend saying of her sister holding my daughter. Miss Bracknell, however, isn’t letting him off easy.
She claims he has a dark history of infidelity. She even accuses him of getting another woman pregnant while they were still together. To her, he’s no innocent victim. We’ve split through. We So what you’re saying, Mr. Butterfield is that this is a pattern she operates where she hides pregnancies from Oh, yeah.
She even she’ll run to her exes. It’s like pattern. She’ll run to him. She’ll run to another guy that she cheated on me on my birthday. I did not cheat on you. She was gone with some her ex. But Mr. Butterfield won’t back down. He says he’s fully prepared to fight for his daughter. No matter what Miss Bracknell and Mr.
Dallas say, he believes Cara deserves to know the truth. He’s ready to challenge their so-called happy family. You don’t dispute what the calendar says. You you you were with him one month previous to when you were with Mr. Dallas, but it was close. Yes, ma’am. When’s the last time we supposedly slept together? Are you asking the questions here? I’m asking you.
Anyway, we were together at the end of the August of August, and I’d say beginning. The courtroom drama takes another twist when Miss Braracknell’s own friend speaks out. She testifies against her, accusing her of lying repeatedly. In her words, she’s sickened by the way Miss Bracknell has handled the entire situation.
Even her own family says it. Her own family even tells me, “They ain’t family. They look like me. She’s got my nose. She’s got my lips. We’ll see. She’s got my brown hair. We’ll see. All her boys are blonde. All their boys are blonde. And they’ve gone brown the older they get. Exactly. So, you are convinced, Mr.
Butterfield, this is your daughter. Oh, I’m 100% convinced. So, you have no doubt, Mr. Butterfield. Miss Bragnell, you say you have no doubt. And Mr. Dallas, you say you have absolutely no doubt. At last, Judge Lake holds the results that will end the chaos. One envelope, one truth, and one life-changing answer.
Will this tear apart Miss Bracknell’s new family? Or will Mr. Butterfield’s fight come to an end once and for all. It has been determined by this court. Cara’s biological father is Mr. Butterfield. After our sexual relationship was over, I cons I wound up dating another guy. Me and Humps was consistent.
Automatically thought it was the other gentleman’s baby. So did not. So you started dating somebody new and you thought it was his child, right, your honor? Case four. This emotional case begins with Miss Garrett, who brings her ex- fling, Mr. Boyer, to court. She insists he’s the biological father of her two-year-old daughter, Naomi.
Another man had already been ruled out. Now all eyes are on Mr. Ber. You are here on a mission today to prove that the defendant, Mr. Ber, is the biological father of your 2-year-old daughter, Naom. That correct? But Mr. Ber fires back immediately. He says the claim is pure fiction. According to him, he didn’t even know the little girl existed until Garrett reached out just a couple of months ago.
He feels blindsided. Mr. Boy, are you say there’s no way that you could be the bioded father of Miss Garrett’s baby? Her child is 2 years old and you just learned of Naomi 2 months ago. Miss Garrett admits her timeline isn’t clean. Right after her fling with Boyer, she started seeing someone else. She convinced herself the new guy was Naomi’s dad.
That assumption shaped all her choices. After our sexual relationship was over, I I wound up dating another guy. Me and Hunts was consistent. Automatically thought it was the other gentleman’s baby. So did not. Oh, you started dating somebody new and you thought it was his child, right, your honor? When Boyer first questioned paternity, she didn’t handle it well.
Instead of being honest, she blocked him on Facebook. Her goal was to keep her new relationship intact. She cut him off completely. First she said yeah, then she said no and then she blocked me from asking her over and over. I was trying to get a clear story out of her and she just blocked me like no like yes, I blocked him on Facebook.
I sure did because I wanted to continue my happy little relationship. When Naomi was an infant, she blocked him. But isn’t it ironic you you blocked him on Facebook because he was saying I might be the child’s father and we didn’t need a DNA test. But her plan collapsed. The man she believed was the father turned out not to be after a DNA test.
With no choice left, she unblocked Ber. That’s when she suddenly decided he might actually be Naomi’s dad. And so the DNA test revealed that the man that you were sure was Naomi’s biological father was in fact not her biological father. Is that true? I have it with me. I’d like to see it. Boyer says the whole situation crushed him.
For two years, he could have been in Naomi’s life but wasn’t. He accuses Garrett of manipulating the truth. To him, it feels like nothing but gains. I felt outraged. Honestly, I was mad because if Naomi is my child, then I miss two years of her life. I miss teaching her how to walk. I miss, you know what I’m saying? I missed a lot.
I missed a lot. And I’m not the type of person to miss anything when it come to my kids. So, that hurt. You mean? But even after finally meeting Naomi, Boyer’s feelings are complicated. He claims he didn’t sense any bond at all. On top of that, he doesn’t notice any physical resemblance. Doubt still lingers heavily.
I went over there to see her. I got zero spiritual energy from this child. I had zero vibe with this child. I looked at her. She don’t look like me. She don’t look like my sister. She don’t look like no female in my family. She don’t look like nobody in my family. I don’t know. Maybe the eyes, but that’s that’s about it.
Judge Lake doesn’t let Garrett slide. She calls out her reckless choices and how her lies have affected Naomi most of all. The court agrees this child has been caught in unnecessary drama. The responsibility is heavy. He has not said one word. [cheering and applause] He hasn’t SAID ONE FOUL WORD ABOUT YOU.
Not one. Because if he had have, I would have corrected him. Thought about what you would say or how you would approach this if in fact this is your biological daughter? Yes, I’ve thought about it. Uh, first thing I would do is try to spend as much time with her as possible so she get used to me. Now, the final answer sits inside a single envelope.
Judge Lake prepares to reveal whether Boyer is truly Naomi’s father. Will this reunion finally bring clarity or will the mystery of Naomi’s paternity continue? It has been determined by this court. Mr. Boyer, you are not the father. What? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? IT WAS told by a family member that he was sick uh with squic figure where he could produce kids.
Every girl that he’s been in a relationship with, they were supposed to be pregnant. Every girl wants my baby. Every girl. No babies. You’re right. EVERY GIRL WANTS YOUR BABY. Every girl. The ones I must get. I guess he would get other women pregnant, but it never happened. But I was the one that happened.
That’s basically what she’s saying. Case five. This case kicks off with Mr. Gilbert, a man caught in heartbreaking family drama. His own sister has filled his head with doubts, insisting baby Cory isn’t really his child. Detention has torn his world apart. He comes to court desperate for answers. Miss Davis, you say that you are convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt Mr.
Gilbert is your son, Cory’s father. You feel the only reason Mr. Gilbert is denying paternity is because he has been brainwashed and manipulated by his meddling sister. Miss Davis, the child’s mother, pushes back hard. She says this baby wasn’t an accident. They planned to start a family.
According to her, Gilbert was the one who wanted a child. Now, she feels his relatives are sabotaging their happiness. So, Miss Davis, you’re blaming his family for this doubt. We planted this baby and then when I got pregnant, he was there. And it’s like when he told his family I was pregnant, that’s when they turned against me, father, and my son.
You were in a relationship? Yes, ma’am. We met in my old neighborhood. It was like love first sight. We was friends first. When we was in love, I didn’t want to get pregnant, but he wanted to check. The emotional toll is obvious. Mr. Gilbert breaks down as he explains how much he loves his son. The accusations have shaken him deeply.
He says the doubts planted by his sister are destroying him inside. That’s not true. Cuz you remember that moment and that means a lot to you that you were there for the entire pregnancy for this baby and you had no doubts at that time. And when you see that, they know it’s this baby. It just upsets you cuz you really want this baby to be yours.
Yes, ma’am. Then comes the shocker from Miss Jones, Gilbert’s sister. She claims her brother once had scarlet fever. According to her, that illness left him unable to father children. It’s a dramatic twist no one expected. What? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? IT was told by a family member that he was sick with scarlet fever where he could produce kids.
Every girl that he’s been in a relationship with, they were supposed to be pregnant. Every girl want my baby. Every girl. No babies. [laughter] You’re right. EVERY GIRL WANTS YOUR Every girl. The ones I He was trying to get I guess he was trying to get other women pregnant, but it never happened. But I was the one that happened.
That’s basically what she’s saying. But she doesn’t stop there. Miss Jones labels Miss Davis a manipulative gold digger. In her version of the story, Davis is only with Gilbert because of his dreams of becoming a successful rapper. The insults sting in the courtroom because what he has going on. He’s trying to even know. He’s trying to be a rapper.
I was in the music business for a long time. People who are trying to be rappers, they don’t have any money. SO YEAH, THAT’S WHAT I’M SAYING. BUT PEOPLE THINK I KNOW THEY DON’T HAVE ANY MONEY but people think they’re going to make it. So I’m saying I’m trying to pin the baby ON YOU IF THEY THINK YOU going to make it. Yes ma’am.
You going to make it. Yes ma’am. That’s what I The allegations keep escalating. The sister goes further saying Davis was already pregnant before meeting Gilbert. She even tosses in wild claims of threesome. The courtroom gas at her relentless attacks. First of all, she was having threesomes with a man.
She was already pregnant before she met my brother. That’s what I heard. Miss Davis is that? No. They can’t even tell you that I talk to anybody. Why you sitting up here doing all this? Yet, Mr. Gilbert’s loyalty speaks volumes. He stood by Davis during her pregnancy. He was president of Cory’s birth, and his name proudly sits on the birth certificate.
That to him proves his commitment as a father. You’re on the birth certificate? Yes, ma’am. I was there when he was born. Yes, ma’am. And now the doubt that your family has is eating away at you. And you’re starting to believe because of her associations that some of this doubt may be reasonable in light of what you’ve heard about her.
And did she try to get a DNA test on one? Yes. Judge Lake steps in firmly. She schoos the sister for me in her brother’s personal life. Her interference, the judge says, has done nothing but cause pain. The courtroom is reminded that this case is about the child, not grudges. This is not a joke. No, it’s really not.
I mean, this is serious. When I saw you see the picture of yourself kissing her stuff and the way you burst into tears, we have to be responsible in this life. Yes, ma’am. We hold on now. We can’t bring babies in the world like we baking cookies. At last, the truth rests inside a single envelope.
Judge Lake prepares to reveal whether Cory is truly Gilbert’s son. Will these results heal a broken family or unleash even more drama between siblings and parents? It has been determined by this court. Mr. Gilbert, you are the father. [applause] Courtroom shifted into a heavy silence the moment Megan Kavanaaugh walked forward.
Her presence alone reminded everyone that this wasn’t her first visit. Just weeks earlier, she had stood before the judge, hoping two different men would be confirmed as baby Malcolm’s father. Both DNA tests failed to link them to the child. And now, Megan claimed that the real father wasn’t an ex or a casual partner, but her mother’s longtime acquaintance, Ken Spent.
I I know how bad it sounds. Um [music] it is bad. Um I started calling him up asking for like rides, you know, to the grocery store, you know, to get stuff for my house. And um subconsciously I was kind to try to [music] seduce him. Ken didn’t deny being involved with Megan, but he painted a very different picture of how things began.
He insisted she had been the one making bold advances toward him. According to him, she appeared at his home dressed provocatively and refused to take no for an answer. He said he tried to set boundaries at first, but eventually slipped. Their encounter, he claimed, happened only once, though Megan firmly disagreed. How did you end up being in the position you were sleeping with your really good friend’s daughter? It was like she said, uh, came over a couple of times.
She was in inappropriate gear. Uh, the first time [music] I shunned it off. When Megan’s mother took the stand, the tension sharp, she remembered noticing strange looks exchanged between her daughter and her friend. Though both had brushed off her concern. The truth didn’t surface until a heated argument erupted at home.
Megan blurted it out in frustration, leaving her mother stunned. Later, Ken privately confirmed the same story, deepening the betrayal. How did it feel to learn that your daughter was sleeping with your very good friend? It was very devastating. It just because the relationship was inappropriate. I felt [music] betrayed actually when we were together like all in the same room.
Megan’s sister added another chaotic layer to the case. She testified that she had been present when Megan secretly met up with Ken. Megan warned her not to tell their mother about what happened. But the guilt aided her and she ultimately told the truth. Megan admitted she had initiated things, but insisted Ken still bore responsibility for going along with it.
And what do you know about this situ, Megan? Okay. I know my mom and him had like best friend connection. And one day me and Megan went to go meet Ken. It was just me and Megan. and she was like getting something from him. I think it was like some money [music] or something. As if things weren’t complicated enough, Ken revealed he was married.
Despite this, he said he would accept the role of father if the test confirmed it. He acknowledged being with Megan during the possible conception period, but he claimed Megan had confessed to sleeping with multiple men during that same time frame. Megan confirmed them, naming Mr. BS and Mr. Scott as partner. I do admit that I did come on to him and it was probably really a strong come on.
You did admit that. He is, but he is a grown man. He could have told me that. It goes both ways. Who would you like to add, Mr. Smith? Mr. Scott was present and ready to testify. He explained that he and Megan had met at a pool and began a brief relationship. He said they always used protection, but Megan insisted there had been one drunken night where they didn’t.
She admitted this fell within the likely conception window. Mr. Scott said even his mother thought Malcolm resembled him, though he wasn’t convinced. Understand that you had a sexual relationship with Miss Kavanaaugh? Yes, ma’am. And it was during the window of conception. Do you agree with that? Yes, ma’am. Megan’s drinking problems hung over the case like a dark cloud.
She openly confessed she had been heavily intoxicated during much of that period. Sometimes she even showed up to work under the influence. The judge firmly reminded her that alcohol had only worsened her situation. She encouraged Megan to seek help so she could provide stability for Malcolm. So these are the last two possibilities, Miss Kavanaaugh.
There’s one more, your honor. To untangle the competing claim, the judge moved forward with the DNA result. She decided to start with Mr. Scott, knowing the outcome would shift the direction of the entire case. If he was the father, the accusations against Ken would no longer matter. If he wasn’t, the pressure on Ken’s story would intensify.
The entire courtroom sat frozen as the envelope was open. When it comes to the paternity of 1mon-old Malcolm [music] Kavanaaugh, Mr. Scott, you are not his father. When Mr. Scott was officially ruled out. The energy in the room shifted instantly. All attention turned straight to Ken, whose connection to Megan now seemed harder to dismiss.
The judge reached for the second envelope. The final answer everyone was waiting for. Megan’s breath shook as she stared at the floor. Ken didn’t move a muscle, his eyes locked forward as the truth drew near. In the case of Kavanagh versus Spent Scott, when it comes [music] to the paternity of one-mon-old Malcolm Kavanagh, Mr.
Spence, you [music] are not his father. Miss Hold House, you are here to prove paternity of your three-month-old son, Zaden. Yes, your honor. Shockingly, you confess [music] it’s either a man you shared a sexual relationship with who wants nothing to do with your child. Miss Hold House, only 20 years old, stood before the court with her infant son, Zaden, at the center of a painful mystery.
She came seeking clarity about who fathered her 3-month-old child. The situation itself was already explosive. Two men could potentially be the father, but one of them was her mother’s long-term partner. The other man had already disappeared from the picture. So, Mr. Chanel, how did you end up in a sexual relationship with your girlfriend’s daughter? It [music] started out as a text message.
Your honor, uh, I received wasn’t supposed to come to me and a word was misspelled. From the earliest moments of testimony, the courtroom realized just how deeply lines had been crossed. Her mother’s boyfriend, Mr. Shinwell, openly confessed to sleeping with it. All began from a mistakenly sent text message that turned flirtation.
A casual exchange quickly escalated into a full affair. What started as whispers soon turned into 6 months of secrecy. You told us the word you abbreviated. And I can imagine how you abbreviated it. You sent the message. Was it meant for him or meant for someone else? It was meant for him, but my mom was sitting right beside me when I texted him.
Then his description of their encounters was disturbingly candid. He recalled the way she dressed, the signals he felt she sent, and the night they met at a park after she slipped away from her grandmother’s house. Their affair continued steadily for half a year. During that entire time, he was still involved with her mother.
The betrayal grew layer upon layer. What did you say to her, Mr. Chanel? [applause] Just asked her if she wanted to go out and have a good time with me. And you said, “Sure.” Their meetings became more strategic as the risks increased. Hold House admitted they nearly got caught when her mother noticed him standing with his pants undone.
That moment led to screaming matches and bitter tension in the home. Yet the relationship did not end immediately when she discovered she was pregnant. Even she couldn’t determine who the father might be. Miss House, how were you sneaking around behind your mother’s back with her boyfriend? What were you doing? We would just when she’s not there, she left to go somewhere.
sometimes when she’s sleeping. The situation grew even more tangled when pregnancy timelines in the household were revealed. Her mother, Miss Bugardis, had given birth to a baby girl with Mr. Shinu just 11 months before. Little Zaden, only 3 months old, might be both her grandson and her daughter’s child.
The family tree bent in impossible direction and still the unravel continued. Oh, at the moment I did not know, but my as my mom was pregnant with my sister, that is my sister is Mr. Chenald’s daughter. When Bardis testified, the emotional weight in the room deep. He explained that she and Shinwald had been together on and off for two decades.
He had known Holt House since infancy, even helping raise her. She recalled uneasy signs her daughter sitting unusually close to him, acting nervous whenever he was around. The truth was worse than she imagined. Ma’am, we are discussing a very difficult situation. Mr. Chenald has been honest with this court. He’s admitted he’s been carrying on a sexual relationship with your daughter.
Despite everything, Shinwald and Beardis were still together under one roof. All three adults lived in the same home with strict boundary. No private conversation, no texting, and constant monitoring. The TV volume was deliberately lowered so the mother could hear them if they spoke. Yet, under questioning, both admitted their last intimate moment occurred only months earlier.
Their stiff posture made the judge question every word. Me and Miss Bogardis just have to figure something out. And so, how often do you get to see Zayen? Uh, we actually all [music] stay together. You all stay together? Yes, ma’am. You all live together? Yes. Sean, when the focus returned to baby Zaden, the judge asked each of them if they wish to be the biological parent.
Hold House hesitated, saying she didn’t want Shinwald to be the father, but also acknowledged the other man had already walked away. Shinwald confessed he hoped the child wasn’t his. He claimed he wanted life to go back to normal. The judge questioned what normal could even mean for them. Told us, are you nervous about these results? [music] Yes, your honor.
Are you hoping he’s the father? Are you hoping he’s not? No, your honor. I really don’t hope he’s the father. By the time all the testimony ended, the case felt less like a paternity question and more like a complete family upheaval. If the DNA proved Shinwald was Zaden’s father, he would be the father of both the baby and the baby’s aunt while remaining the partner of the child’s grandmother.
If he wasn’t, it still wouldn’t repair the damage done. The courtroom froze as the judge prepared to read the result. Mr. Chanel, it has been determined by this court. You are not Miss Nato, you confess you are caught in the middle of two lifelong best friends because you slept with them both and now have no idea which is 2year-old Cameron’s biological father.
At the center of this emotional tangle stood Kayla Adao, a young mother facing two men whose bond once felt unbreakable. Their friendship had spanned 16 years, but the secret Kayla revealed risked destroying it forever. She admitted she had been intimate with both of them during the same period. Now 2 years after her son Cameron’s birth, she still didn’t know whoathered.
The entire courtroom felt the weight of that confession. Mr. Santilly. Now, what will you do if today’s test results reveal Cameron is your biological child? I’m going to break down. It’s been over a year and a half. I had to convince my 4-year-old how he doesn’t have a younger brother no more. I had to convince myself that he [music] wasn’t my son.
Kayla’s story began with heartbreak. She explained that Dino ended their relationship through a text message while his grandfather was dying, saying she deserved better. Despite the split, she continued visiting the elderly man in his nursing home. After his passing, Dino’s best friend, Tom, told her Dino had left her for another woman upstairs.
That night, fueled by grief and betrayal, she and Tom shared drinks and eventually a bed. The day that he passed away, I [music] was holding his hand, and Tom was standing, Mrs. R was standing behind me, and [music] we both just took it hard. It’s not easy to watch anybody pass away, never mind somebody you were so close to.
So, we went out afterwards, and we had some drink. The order of events quickly became a battleground. Dino said he never suspected anything was happening behind his back, but Kayla acknowledged she attended the grandfather’s funeral with Tom shortly after their encounter. She insisted both she and Tom were single when it happened.
The judge questioned her on whether she considered the emotional wound this would inflict on Dena, but Kayla stood by her choices. You don’t really know who the father is. No, I can’t say. Tom’s entrance into the courtroom only heightened the tension. He claimed Dino had practically given him permission, saying he didn’t care about Kayla because he had another girlfriend.
Dino angrily denied ever saying such a thing, accusing Tom of betraying their long friendship. Rumors about Kayla and Tom had circulated even before Cameron was born, raising Dino’s doubt. Yet, Dino still showed up for Cameron’s birth, cut the cord, and signed the certificate. How do you end up sleeping with your best friend’s girl? He told me to do it.
He told me specifically in his house, “Yo, I don’t care about this girl. I have another girlfriend.” The doubts didn’t disappear, though. Early on, people said Cameron resembled Dino. But as time passed, more people began whispering that the boy looked like Tom. Kayla admitted she noticed it, too, even submitting a comparison of baby Cameron beside a childhood photo of Tom.
She insisted the resemblance was uncanny. Tom reluctantly agreed he saw similarities. So, you believe the child was yours? Did you sign the birth certificate? When he was first born, everybody said he looked just like Dino, but I wasn’t too sure. I just kind of kept my mouth shut because I thought, you know, maybe it’s my guilt.
I thought it was just me who thought he looked like Tom. Disagreements over when Kayla confessed her uncertain only deepened the rift. Dino claimed she told him on Christmas Eve, implying he was holding a child that wasn’t his. Kayla said they had talked weeks before that. The argument triggered a chain of events that led to Dino being arrested after he emotionally snapped.
By the next day, Tom had taken on the role of father to Cameron. How did you finally break the news [music] to Mr. Santilly that he was going to tell you that I told him on Christmas Eve, and that’s not the truth. That’s not the truth. It’s not the truth. But Kayla’s involvement with both men didn’t stop there.
She later revealed that she and Tom had a daughter together after Cameron’s birth. Their relationship had since ended, but she insisted she only wanted transparency now. She argued that Dino shouldn’t shoulder responsibility if Cameron wasn’t biologically his. And she believed Tom deserved the truth so he could fully commit if he was the true father.
So, Miss Nato, right now, who are you with? Neither one of them. Okay. Is Cameron your only child? No. They have another baby together, too. We have a daughter together. Which we? Me and Mr. Zara. And I have another son. Tom shared that he initially rejected the idea that Cameron could be his child.
Still, pressure from their community and mutual friends made him step in. Over time, his feelings changed as he noticed Cameron resembled his daughter and even his own mother. Kayla agreed, saying both children shared family traits. Dino stayed mostly silent, expressing only that he needed the truth to finally move forward. Miss Nato just says she truly thinks you’re Cameron’s [music] father.
Do you think you are? At first, I didn’t, but now, yeah, for many reasons. Years of resentment, confusion, and unanswered questions all converged in that single moment in court. Dino admitted he had mentally prepared himself for the possibility that Cameron wasn’t his, repeating it to himself for nearly 18 months.
But he also acknowledged that if the child was his, it would reopen deep wounds he had tried to heal. When the judge took the sealed envelope, the entire room held its breath. And then she began reading the results. That Cameron’s biological father is Mr. Santilling. [applause] So you were having issues and complications with my pregnancy.
We can stop playing [music] victim though. So I didn’t show you the papers. I got the newspapers. I got her cell phone and I seen that they’ve been in she been in a whole another relationship with this other guy. A light-skinned guy by her skin color. The episode begins with turbulence. From the very first moment, Ms.
Matthews storms into court determined to prove Mr. Moore fathered her three-year-old daughter, Za. But Mr. Moore is not only denying paternity, he’s demanding reimbursement for a shattered car window he blames on her temper. Judge Lake already looks exhausted, and we’ve barely started. Having an extremely complicated relationship with the defendant, Mr.
Moore. Now, you say you’re here today to prove that he is your three-year-old daughter, Zaniah’s biological father. Yes, ma’am. Mr. Moore paints Ms. Matthews as a party loving woman from the day they met. He swears they used protection every single time. Every time usually means except once, and the judge knows it.
He claims she waited months before telling him she was expecting. Miss Matthews argues she delayed because doctors weren’t sure the baby would make. And you thought you were together? No. But And how did you find this photo? That actually came from her social network that she used to have, her Instagram. Things escalate when Mr.
Moore presents photos from her Instagram showing her kissing another man. She admits the picture is real, but says it was an old photo for throwback Thursday. Not the best timing when pregnant. When the judge questions the window incident, Miss Matthews boldly confesses she grabbed a brick and smashed his car. The crowd reacts instantly.
The tire and I broke your BACK WINDOW. OKAY. OH, OKAY. She’s got angry. Okay. Put this part of the story together. So, hold on. Hold on, Mr. Moore. Mr. Moore trying to drive his point home, produces photos of the wrecked vehicle like he’s the lead detect. Ms. Matthews doesn’t deny a thing.
She even jokes she should have broken the other window, too. The audience erupts while Judge Lake tightens her jaw. Mr. Moore mutters that Ms. Matthews always has a justification for everything. Your child, she was having the baby. You thought it was yours. Absolutely. But we weren’t together at the time. But you weren’t together.
Then Ms. Matthew flips the script. She accuses Mr. Moore of paying for sexual encounter. She says he once woke up drunk in an alley with no memory of the night. Judge Lakes’s eyebrows lift sharp. Miss Matthews just exposed his entire night. Mr. Moore fires back, claiming she’s the one with the questionable reputation.
I don’t have to lie about what I do. Mr. Moore, let me see this evidence you have. You was real chilly. This is a picture of what? The night she busted out my windows from me uploading a picture with another girl on my social network. Before the tension settle, Mr. Moore’s niece, Miss Thomas, steps in with her own accusation.
She insists Matthews lies about pregnancies and has a reputation for getting around. Ms. Matthews immediately shouts back, telling her not to pretend to be righteous. Judge Lake rubs her forehead, clearly losing patient. The courtroom energy shifts to pure chaos. Miss Thomas. Miss Thomas, why do you have doubt that your uncle is the father of Miss Matthews child? Because Miss Matthews, she gets around.
The whole hoods knows her. She’s nothing new. Then Miss Thomas delivers the most explosive statement yet. She claims little Zah calls several neighborhood men daddy. The room goes silent on impact. Judge Lake turns toward Ms. Math, demanding clarity. Ms. Matthews denies everything, insisting her daughter only uses the nickname for her grandfather. Mr.
more nods as if confirming the rumor. Not my uncle. Yes. Wait, wait, wait. Your honor, Zia calls three other men. Three other men’s daddy. That sound ridiculous. Wait, Miss Matthews? Hold on. Miss Matthews. Miss Thomas pushes further, claiming she has seen men frequently visiting Ms. Matthews’s home.
She even says Za sat outside unckempt while this happened. Ms. Matthews immediately jumps up out. She asks if she looks like the type to neglect her child. Another collective gasp ripples through the audience. And then do guys coming in and out the house. We’ll be sitting on the porch and there’ll [music] be guys coming in and outside the house and Zia will just be sitting on the porch with her nose snotty and hungry.
And then every time she comes over she has the same clothes on like the judge finally intervene redirecting everyone’s attention to the child at the center of this mess. She asks who signed the birth certificate. Miss Matthews explains it’s blank no father listed. Mr.
Moore admits he came to the hospital but left quickly after hearing rumor. Judge Lake scolds him for abandoning a woman in labor over gossip. Mr. Moore, you didn’t sign the birth certificate because you weren’t sure. Cuz you weren’t sure. He didn’t even get the chance to see the birth certificate. He didn’t even come up to the house. Miss Matthews breaks down while explaining she works every day of the week to support ZA.
For a moment, her anger disappeared, replaced by genuine emotion. The courtroom softens with her. Mr. Moore insists he’s not a villain. He says he’s young, has no children, and wants answers before forming a bond he can’t undo. I had to pay for a babysitter every time I go to work. I don’t never have no me time. And for them to be saying all that, so my daughter be dirty, all that, that’s impossible cuz I’ll walk around with knees and rags on my body before my daughter. Look at me.
Judge Lake acknowledges both perspectives, sensing each has been hurt. But when Ms. Matthews accuses Mr. Moore of constant drinking and partying. The courtroom erupts again. The judge raises her hands in frustration. She reminds them their daughter is old enough to feel the absence of a father. Her voice cuts through the noise.
If it weren’t for Zaniah, I probably would be about done with this cuz it’s a little bit too much silliness and back and forth and talk talking just too much. It really is not a Before moving to DNA results, Mr. Moore demands the $285 for the broken window. Judge Lake reviews the proof and rules immediately. Ms.
Matthew must pay for the damage he caused. The audience laughs soft as the judge calls for Jerome. The room grows still the truth is seconds away. $285 for the broken window. Do you have any receipts? You know what, John? I do have receipts. May I please see those invoice? We are. Thank you. Oh, you’re welcome. As always, Judge Lake reads slowly and clearly in the case concerning three-year-old Z. The air becomes heavy.
She announces Mr. Moore is not the biological father. Mr. Moore reacts instant. Celebrate. Miss Matthews remains calm, saying she’d expected it. The courtroom deflates in an emotional release. In the case of Matthews v. Moore pertaining to three-year-old Zaniah, Mr. [music] Moore, you are not her father. That’s That’s what I’m talking about.
That’s what I’m talking. I’m done. I’m done. Mr. Moore repeats that he has his entire future ahead of him. Ms. Matthews insists her child will be fine. But Judge Lake delivers one last firm reminder. She tells Ms. Matthews, she already knows who the real father is and that ZA deserves to know that truth as well.
So, Miss Matthews, I asked you several times if there could be another potential father and you said no. Whether you’re [music] willing to admit it open court today, something in me is telling me that you know. Then the episode ends without theatrics. Ms. Matthews quietly admits off camera that the results still hit her hard.
Judge Lakes’s words linger in the emptying courtroom. We’re here for ZA. It’s raw, heavy, and exactly why this show continues to deliver unmatched emotional drama. Room again. We’ll be here for you. Because most importantly, we’re here for Zaniah. We want her to [music] know who her father is because she deserves that.
I wish you the very best of luck. The episode begins with tension thick enough to cut. Mr. Wilson storms into paternity court, insisting he is not the father of Ms. Butler’s youngest girl, Zera, and little Anna. He accuses her of cheating, lying, and letting multiple men drift through her home. Ms.
Butler fiercely denies every claim, insisting both children are his. After raising four kids together, she can’t believe he’s denying them now. Wilson, you’ve opened this case to prove you are not the biological father of Miss Butler’s two daughters, 4-year-old Zariah and 19month-old Nana. Judge Lake immediately points out something everyone is thinking.
The age gap, 48 to 25, raises her first eyebrow. She questions whether this is really about paternity or something much deeper. Mr. Wilson snaps back with a line that sends the courtroom into hysteric. Even Judge Lake has to catch herself before laughing aloud. Well, let me ask you this cuz it’s it’s it’s right here in my court file.
So, let’s just be honest about it. There’s a significant age difference between you, Mr. Wilson, and Miss Butler. You are 48. She is 25. As they revisit their messy relationship, the drama escalates. Mr. Wilson claims he caught Ms. Butler stepping out of another man’s car. She denies cheating, but he found messages where she called another man daddy.
Miss Butler tries to minimize the situation, saying nothing happened. Judge Lakes’s face shows she’s not convinced at all. She was living at home with her parents at the time and um one time I go up to her job to see her at work taking some lunch and um I seen her get out of another guy’s car and I got a cell phone and I seen that they’ve been in.
Ms. Butler keeps insisting the other man didn’t finish as if that clears her name. Judge Lake tries to remain composed, but can’t hide her disbelief. She gently reminds her that contact still counts. Ms. Butler nods like she’s presenting solid evidence. The audience silently questions her entire argument.
I mean, we tried to use the little condom, but we stopped and it just we didn’t it didn’t happen. Like he never anything. When the topic of pregnancy arises, the contradictions get worse. Mr. Wilson says he gave her another chance after hearing she was pregnant but never even called him when the baby was born.
She claims her phone was dead which Judge Lake shuts down instant hospitals after all have working phones. Back of my mind I knew the baby wasn’t mine. I fought with so many different men. Take me to her birth. What was going on? I mean um I didn’t have my phone at the hospital so I would have definitely had called him.
So Mr. Wilson explains that when he finally visited the baby the birth paperwork had Ms. Butler’s last name. She argues he denied the child, so she made the choice alone. Judge Lake steps in with a reminder that one encounter is all it takes for conception. Ms. Butler insists Zera is his, but the courtroom energy carries strong doubt.
My last name. So the next day, I go to the hospital cuz they they took the baby to another hospital. Come back here, go back there, the lady gives us our paperwork. It’s back Butler. When asked how he’d feel if Zera weren’t his, Mr. Wilson softens. He quietly admits he’d be sad because she’s such a sweet little girl.
The courtroom settles into silence. Then Judge Lake reads the results with precision. Mr. Wilson is not the father in the case of Wilson versus Butler. When it comes to 4year-old Zariah Butler, Mr. Wilson. As the shock sets in, Miss Butler gasps and hides her face. She whispers in disbelief while Mr. Wilson mutters that he knew it.
Before emotions cool down, attention shifts immediately to the second child, Anna. Ms. Butler confidently insists Anna must be his. But Judge Lake looks understandably exhausted by deja vu. One of the children you really didn’t know if Zariah was his, but Nana, you’re pretty confident about. Yes, I am. Nana’s definitely yours. You said that about the other one.
Mr. Wilson recalls an incident that shakes the courtroom. He says he caught another man hiding in Ms. Butler’s bathroom one. He even punched through a window trying to confront him. Meanwhile, his son sat in the living room looking uneasy. Judge Lake looks completely done with this entire situation. There was not no multiple.
You only seen one thing. I only seen it one time, but everybody tell me. Everybody tell all apartments. I’m always in the house. What you talking about? Wait, that’s where you do all your them nasty stuff at in the house. Miss Butler claims the bathroom incident was a one-time mistake. Mr. Wilson disagreed, saying the whole complex knew what was happening in her apartment.
Judge Lake shifts her frustration toward him next. She questions why a nearly 50-year-old man is with someone so young and unstable. The audience erupts an agreement in a hurry going nowhere fast and you steady having sex with her with no pro protection and potentially making babies. Yeah, I I thought about that and I was wrong.
I I thought we can get back together cuz she always said we going to get back together. Despite everything, Mr. Wilson admits he still cared for her. He says he tried to make their family work because of the kids they share. Judge Lake calls out both of them for their choices. She points out how reckless it is to keep having unprotected sex while questioning paternity.
Neither one can offer a solid defense. We did use a kind of and like he didn’t even finish like he never that’s the STORY FROM ZARIAH AND THAT ONE DIDN’T PAN OUT. YEAH. YEAH. I did multiple guys. Miss Butler tries to explain she only saw another man briefly. Mr. Wilson interrupt claiming there were several. Judge Lakes’s expression says everything the audience is thinking.
She jokes that Ms. Butler must believe no one else ever finished it. Even Jerome struggles to stay serious behind the baiff stand. You know why she in the back room entertaining company. So you said Nana is not my child. Yes. And when you he told you that Miss Butler, what did you say? I said Nana is his. I said Nana is his.
And when I seen the baby, I knew the baby wasn’t mine. In discussing Anna’s birth, their stories conflict again. Ms. Butler claims Mr. Wilson was present, but he insists he wasn’t anywhere near the hospital. Judge Lake finally steps in to settle it. She asks whose name is on the birth certificate.
Miss Butler confesses no one’s name is listed and the judge is not surprised. You know the baby wasn’t mine. I know Nion is yours, but I just didn’t do it. So if you are her biological father, Miss coming with me. No. Judge Lakes’s patience reaches its limit. She tells Ms. Butler she’s been promising change for years with nothing to show for it.
Her tone cuts sharp as she scolds her for treating motherhood like a playground. The courtroom falls quiet. It’s one of the judges strongest wakeup call. And you sitting up in here just talking like you you you on a playground somewhere. Just no. Yo, you no what? When you listen to me. Finally, it’s time for the DNA results for Anna.
Judge Lake delivers them slowly and carefully. Mr. Wilson is the biological father. The audience gasps as he breaks down in tears. He whispers about his little baby, flooded with emotion. Has been determined by this court. Mr. Wilson, you are the father.
